“An engaging performer, with a powerful voice and of impressive agility” (Revue L’Opéra), the coloratura soprano Natacha Demers dazzles as much by her luminous voice and effortless high notes as for her naturally charismatic stage presence and vibrant interpretations. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including of the Azrieli scholarship of Excellence, the Fondation des Jeunesses musicales du Canada, and the Lieutenant-Governor’s Medal, First prize winner at the Pierre-de-Saurel Competition and the Ottawa Kiwanis Festival, and finalist of the Camille Coloratura Awards. Originally from Gatineau, Quebec, she earned a Master’s degree in classical voice, awarded with distinction, from the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec in Montreal.​​
Natacha recently shined during the Opernfest Prague, during which she made her European debut as soloist with the Czech Virtuosi Orchestra under the baton of Jaroslav Kyzlink, performing at Obecní Dům. She has also appeared as soloist, amongs others, for the Concerts Lachine, Le Vivier, the Orchestre Symphonique de Gatineau, and the Orchestre de chambre de Hawkesbury. She was selected as a young artist in the Canadian Opera Company's Summer Opera Intensive and as laureate of the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques du Canada.

Endowed with a versatile voice, she blossoms in a varied repertoire, equally in opera, recital and concert repertoire, always maintaining an engaging presence through natural and convincing story-telling. Some of her roles include Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Tytania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Marie (La fille du régiment), La Fée (Cendrillon), Amore (Orfeo ed Euridice, Gluck).
